What is Nudj?

Nudj is a loyalty programme made of games, streaks, challenges and loyalty tiers instead of discounts. It goes on any website with two lines of code. The aim is a customer who comes back in a later week without being paid a discount to do it.

How is Nudj different from Smile.io or LoyaltyLion?

Smile.io and LoyaltyLion are built around points and discounts for purchases. Nudj is built around play: nine games your customers play in your brand, plus streaks, quizzes and prize draws. It also reports members against non-members, not redeemer figures, which flatter any programme because redeemers are already your heaviest buyers.

Does Nudj work outside Shopify?

Yes. The widget goes into any website or app with two lines of code. Shopify stores use the same two lines in their theme today, and a Shopify app is coming soon. An API and webhooks connect it to the rest of your systems.

Do you need a website?

No. Every programme has its own page that opens on a phone. Your customers can browse and play as guests, then sign in to claim.

Can customers earn without buying?

Yes. There are 44 kinds of action, including quizzes, ratings, streak check-ins, referrals, birthdays and receipt uploads. So a customer has a reason to come back on a day they were not going to buy. Receipt scanning reads a till receipt and awards points for what was bought in store.

Does Nudj use discounts?

Only if you want it to. Games, streaks, challenges, prize draws, badges, leaderboards and loyalty tiers give people a reason to come back without a code. Nudj can issue Shopify discount codes as a reward, but a programme can run without a single one.

How do you measure whether it worked?

We steer by one thing: whether an engaged customer comes back in a later week, reported members against non-members, alongside average order value and what your points still owe. We are building a randomised holdout test on a game mechanic, and will publish the first readout in December, including a null result.

What does Nudj cost?
